What role did American industries play in the effort to prepare the u.s for the entry into world war 2

The American industries mass-produced weapons and vehicles for the war. This included tanks, planes, guns, ammo, trucks, and much more. There were so many willy jeeps by the end of the war, that America sold them for cheap prices to the Columbian farmers and people.
