Why did the texans justified in declaring independence?

Step-by-step explanation:

The Mexicans were telling the Texans what they could or could not do. There was a language difference which would make it harder to communicate. Benjamin Lundy was strongly against slavery and he didn't see the whole picture of Texas gaining independence. He thought that it was a conspiracy from the beginning.
