Last Saturday, Daphne sold 48 one-cup servings of lemonade at her lemonade stand. This week, she hopes to sell three times the amount she sold last week. If Daphne hits her goal, how many gallons of lemonade will she sell this week?

48 times 3 = 144

144 cups

There are 16 cups in one gallon. That means that she sold 48/16=3 gallons last week. If she sells three times this amount this week, she will sell 9 gallons in total.
