explain how the fall of the alamo and the goliad massacre both hurt and helped the texans’ quest for independence in the texas revolution

It hurt ppl because it was a huge loss for Texas and Mexico, and it was difficult military to defeat for Texans.  It helped ppl by showing them that Santa Anna was cruel dictator, because he had a lack of mercy.
