Expository writing is writing that pursues to elucidate, irradiate or interpret. This type of writing can comprise essays, newspaper and magazine articles, teaching manuals, primers, encyclopedia articles and other methods of writing. Expository writing fluctuates from other forms of writing, such as literature and poems.
