The European Imperialism in the Middle East led to very arbitrarily drawn borders in the region. The Borders were drawn without taking into consideration the ethnicities , religious and tribal sects and historical divisions. This has led to prolonged disturbance and unrest in the region leading to several wars and conflicts since the Second World War .
