I believe that both Hamlet and Claudius have plotted against each other and committed a murder.
They are constantly plotting each other's downfall - Hamlet wants everyone to know that Claudius killed his father and Claudius wants people to think Hamlet is mad. Also, Claudius murdered King Hamlet, whereas Prince Hamlet killed Ophelia's father.
