Group hierarchy works in the same sense as muscles in the body, they cannot function effectively on their own and rely on one another to work. Group structure also works similarly in that muscles perform different functions but added together do one complete action. Each group member is need to do their own separate yet unique task in order for the collective muscle to perform effectively.
