The original temperature at dusk is 1 degree Fahrenheit at dusk. However, at dawn, it is 8 degrees colder. We are asked to find the temperature at dawn. To find the temperature, we will have to go backward, not forwards on the scale. This is because if we are going forward, the temperature is getting hotter. Therefore, 1 - 8 is -7. Hence, the temperature at dawn is -7 degrees Fahrenheit. Hope this helped and have a great day!
