To find the slope, use the formula:

Slope = y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

Substitute the coordinates.

Slope = 1 - 4 / 0 - 1

Slope = -3 / -1

Slope = 3 (negative ÷ negative = positive)

Solution: 3
