b. False. If the behaviour is driven by an impulse or compulsion, the brain is wired find ways to fulfill that desire. The reward that comes from this, a dopamine hit, is the same outcome for any similar activity that fulfills the compulsion. IE I love the feeling that I get when I experience a rush of adrenaline. Skydiving without a parachute is counterproductive. If i get hurt I can always go bungee jumping....
