He found that the media had an influence on supporting voter's decisions that they had already made for particular candidates.

Most people were not influenced directly by media; media more often reinforced choices, many "early deciders" are also harviest media users who seek info, later deciders take their cues from the opinion leaders, whom they respect and trust to give them good info.
