The physician or designated employee should notify the child's parents.
All notification regarding medical situation for patients under the age of 18 should be given to the poeple who acted as the guardian of those patient.
So in this particular case, the people that belong on top of the notification list is the parents and in case the parents already do not exist to guard the patients, the list fall into the people that put in parent's will as the Godfather/Godmother.
