The majority of the elements essential to life are found in first four rows of the periodic table. However, there are some exceptions such as iodine and molybdenum which belong to the fifth row but are considered to be essential to humans. These essential elements are necessary for the sustenance of human life, otherwise, the lack of these elements would result to death.
