if angle 3 is a corresponding angle, vertical angle or interior alternate angle to angle 5 it can be assumed that angle 5 is of equal measure. if angle three is a right angle and all angles cut from this transversal are 90 degrees if assuming that  the transversal is a perpendicular bisector
