What geographic advantages did venice have

Hello there!

Well, Venice was built on water. So they used to have buildings under the water as the basements. This was an advantage for them because it was not easy to attack them. So, the city was safe from military attacks.

I hope this helps!

It's pretty much a lagoon so it's great for farming and because the soil is so rich they are very big on agriculture.
