Decrease in hormonal levels causes most hormones to be secreted. If there is a hormonal imbalance it may lead to vaginal aridity, frustration, or uneasiness. Lack of estrogen can cause vaginal atrophy which is known to be an inflammation which may end to thinning and attenuation of tissues.
