igneous rocks are produced by the crystallization and solidification of molten magma. magma forms when rock is heated to high temps between 625 and 1200 degrees Celsius beneath the earths surface.

Igneous rocks are formed by magma or molten rock from the interior of Earth. When the lava/molten rock cools, it forms igneous rocks.
