China's Golden Age led to increased trade by coming into contact with new cultures during its golden age so they expanded its trade network.

The golden age of Chinese civilization is considered to be the most prosperous period of China with developments of paramount importance in culture, art, literature, particularly poetry, and technology. This kicked off with the The Tang dynasty founded by Emperor Gaozu on 18 June 618.

Under Tang rule and leadership, China turnt into the wealthiest, most populous, and most sophisticated civilization on earth.
