5. What is the median cost for a home in the US currently?

How about 2026? What does this mean for you?
Seriously, what does this mean? Don't answer on this
paper, but go home and ask your parents how much your
current home's mortgage is. Would you be happy living in
that type of home as your family home? If you are happy
with that, or want more, what steps are you going to have to
take to be where you want to be in 10-15 years?

Depends on the area. More southern states tend to have cheaper housing unless there is a high population density and better living standards. Silicon Valley in California has average housing for a 3 bed 2 bath house at ~3,200 US dollars.
