Audrey can paint ⅔rd square yards in 1 hour.
3/5x = 2/5(1)
3/5x = 2/5
3/5/3/5x = 2/5/3/5
x
= 10/15
x = ⅔
Hope this helps and have a great day! ;)

set up a porportion,

3/5 hours / 2/5 square yards
1 hour / x square yards

simplify by cross multiplying

3/5x = 2/5(1).
3/5x = 2/5.
3/5/3/5x = 2/5/3/5
x
= 10/15
x = 2/3

so she can paint
2/3 square yards in 1 hour. hope this helps!
