Explain the differences between internal and external fertilization and the advantages

and disadvantages of each reproductive strategy.

Internal fertilization is when the egg is fertilized inside the mother, external fertilization happens when the egg is fertilized outside the mother. An example of a disadvantage for internal, is that what ever happens to the mother will affect the baby too. Disadvantage to external fertilization is the egg(s) can be harmed easily.
