Anyone wanna help a small little bean in need?

Why is the inner core solid iron, even though it is the hottest part of the Earth?

The state of a substance not just depends on the temperature but also the pressure, because the pressure of the inner core is so look high the liquid iron in the core turned solid. If the pressure was the same as the outer core then the iron in the inner core would be in liquid state.

This is the case because of the pressure on the inner core. Because the inner core has so much pressure and so much heat, it is solid

Hope this helps!

Have a great day :)
