The land around the Nile River delta is known as lower egypt. The most crucial thing the Nile river implemented to the ancient egyptians was fertile land where they grew wheat, papyrus, & flax. with the aide of the Nile river, the area around it benefited the soil making it rich and fertile for agriculture. and since the Nile river is close to lower region of egypt, the delta would continue to be rich and fertile as long as the river continues to flow.
