How do you turn decimal numbers into fraction

The basic technique is to put the decimal (for this example we'll use 0.75.) on top of 1:
(0.75)/(1). Then, you will multiply both sides by 100, since this decimal goes to the hundredths place. That will turn it into a whole number:

(75)/(100)
Then, simplify it:
(15)/(20) =
(3)/(4).

Of course, it will be different based on which decimals you are trying to convert, but this is the simple version. This technique works for most decimals.
