You can use a proportion for each ingredient.
Milk:
2 2/3 cup are to 6 people as x cups are to 8 people
(2 2/3)/6 = x/8
(8/3)/6 = x/8
6x = 8 * 8/3
6x = 64/3
x = 32/9 = 3 5/9
3 5/9 cups of milk
Oil:
1/4 cup is to 6 people as x cups are to 8 people
(1/4)/6 = x/8
6x = 8 * 1/4
6x = 2
x = 2/6 = 1/3
1/3 cup of milk
