In august 1943, more than 100,000 members of the group of all Americans of Japanese ancestry were forced by executive order of President Roosevelt to relocate to evacuation camps. These orders were posted in communities of Japanese-American with the given instructions for complying with such order. There are many families who sold their stores, homes, and their other assets. This is because there is an uncertainty that these assets would still be there when they return.
