Carrie promises tim she will clean his house and in exchange, tim promises to pay carrie $50. this is an example of what type of contract?

I would call this a promissory unwritten contract which depends on the promise of Carrie and the client to deliver both the work and the pay for the work and this is still a legally binding type of contract that could be pursued in small claims court if necessary.
