What organ provides the major control for homeostasis of body fluids?

The answer is kidneys. These are two bean-shaped body part, individually about the size of a fist. They are positioned just beneath the rib cage, one on separate side of the spine. On a daily basis, the two kidneys screen about 120 to 150 quarts of blood to make approximately 1 to 2 quarts of urine that comprises of wastes and extra fluid.
