Heat stroke is a medical condition which is also known as sun stroke. Heat stroke can combine with dehydration that might lead to medical emergency. If a person gets heat stroke and becomes unresponsive, his carotid pulse should be assessed that reveals that it is weak and rapid. THE PERSON SHOULD BE FANNED OR COOLED WITH SPONGING WITH COLD WATER. IT IS ALSO ADVISABLE TO GIVE CPR.
CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
