the thesis in a story establishes the purpose of the paper for the reader. the thesis helps the assignment length, makes a statement about your overall point and it shows concepts that will give to support that idea about the story. it usually appears near the beginning of the story but sometimes it ruins the essay all together if you do so most people write it near the end.
