36 books = 6 months.
Divide both sides by 6.
6 books = 1 month is Alice’s reading average.
6 books x 14 months = 84 books

Alice will have read 84 books in 14 months.

Well if she read 36 books in 6 months, we can conclude that she reads 6 books per month. So if we take 6 * 14, we'll get 84.
