The Potsdam conference took place in Potsdam in 1845 between the Soviet Union, represented by the Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin, the United States,represented by the U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Great Britain, represented by the Prime Minister Winston Churchill. The three leaders agreed to demand Germany's unconditional surrender and began plans for a post-war world.The significance of the conference is that despite the differences between the three leader they had remained allies throughout the war.
