Plants that live in water soaked soil are able to thrive in an aquatic habitat or ecosystem. Some plants like the Amazon lily, Arrow head, and Marsh marigold adapt and thrive better in an aquatic environment. They often have one or two defining factors that makes terrestrial habitation almost impossible like they are "moisture-hungry" Some of these plants have their roots, sap, emersed in the water.
