What is the difference between a cell wall and a cell membrane

A cell wall protects the cell from any viruses or diseases from getting into the cell and contamination (or getting the cell sick).

The cell membrane controls the cell tells it what to do basically how are brain tells are body what to do the cell membrane tells the cell what to do.

The cell wall is the outside layer of the cell whereas the cell membrane is surrounds the cytoplasm of the cell.
