Find the value of x so that the function has the given value.

 j(x)=−4/5x+7; j(x)=−5

Sub j(x)=-5 into the first eq.
-5=(4/5x)+7
Add 7 to both sides
2=4/5x
Muliply both sides times 5x
10x=4
Divide both sides by 10
X=4/10
Simplify
X=2/5
