Discuss at least two effects on U.S. citizens that stem from the division of power between the federal and state governments.

The effects have to do with the differences between the laws in different states - those are the laws which are not done on the federal level, so they can differ among the states (without the division of power, all the laws would be the same in all the states)

1) Some states have the death penalty and some don't - depending on the state they're in, the US Citizens face different kinds of punishments

2) Some states have different abortion laws - depending on the state they're in, abortion can be easily obtainable or not
