"Primates' enhanced vision led to a reduced sense of smell."

Primates have a more developed vision while its smell is weaker than most of the other mammals. They have a better coloured vision and perception of space. Because the started to trust more in their vision, the sense of smell started to fade out and be less prominent as it is in other mammals.
