How did president roosevelt attempt to deal with a supreme court that did not agree with his legislative agenda?

He did what is called packing the court. This means that he expanded the size of the supreme court and in doing that it was possible for him to propose judges that supported him. This turned the tides in the supreme court and they started supporting his ideas.
