At 22 years of age, it was a very valuable experience for George Washington to be an in charge of a militia because he emerged as skilled person after the fight with French. These experiences helped him in the later part of his life for making right decisions and actions in command and politics. He gained significant amount of skills in military and being a leader. He also developed knowledge and exposure towards colonials and British.
