Is the tetrapeptide ala-glu-gly-lys a good buffer at ph 7.0? will it move in an electric field at ph 7.0?

pH is a measure of the effective concentration of H+ ions a solution. So, an electric field applied to a solution will create a pH gradient.

If pH is 7, means it is neutral. so it will not move in an electric field
