The following ideas must be kept in mind while developing an awareness program:- Avoid using technical terminology instead the language which users understand should be used.- The venue should be easily available, and accessible to all users.- Goals of the program should be explained in detail to make the program effective.- The information should be adequate for the user.- Responsibilities of the users in information security and how a breach in information security can affect their work should be explicitly explained.- The awareness program should be formal and planned.
