What is the domain of y equals -1/4x squared +1/2x minus 13/4?

If your equation is
y=- (1)/(4) x^(2) + (1)/(2) x- (13)/(4), then the domain is all real numbers (-∞, ∞).

If your equation is
y = - (1)/(4 x^(2) ) + (1)/(2x) - (13)/(4),
then the domain is all real numbers except zero (-∞, 0)∪(0, ∞)
