I think the answer is Faith. In the story of Abraham and the stories of the New Testament of the Bible, is centered on Faith. In the Old and New Testament, Faith was stressed out as man's salvation and happiness. Abraham's faith had saved his son, whom he was willing to sacrifice to Yahweh while the belief of many people in the New Testament had centered on the miracles done by Christ.
