The three teaching technique points that the nurse would provide a caregiver when discussing the risk factors for the development of pressure ulcer are the following;
- It is best to assess the patient whether he or she has illness for this is one of the risk factors for pressure ulcer.
- It is best to give adequate nutrient to the patient to prevent of having to experience pressure ulcer
- When the patient has pressure ulcer, it is best to provide care as wounds could be created such as letting the patient to sit comfortably or lie down without exerting any force or pressure.
