Explain the causes of the American revolution

the colonies were proud to be British. There were small instances of Parliament's control that bothered the colonists, like the Currency Acts of 1751 and 1764. But when the French and Indian War took place King George III lost al lot of money from to buying expensive supplies for his army and the colonies. So to pay off his debt, he put taxes on the colonies without their consent.This upset the colonists.

america didnt want to be a part of the british kingdom anymore, so they decided to break off, and become their own country. britain didnt like that, so they tried to take us down, but we won the war
