The developed nation like United States play a significant role in the destruction of the rainforest as it cut down a large number of trees for the development of the nation.

The logs of the trees were used as the raw materials for many industries. The developed nations were once undeveloped and at that time they used woods for settlement of the industries and deforestation was done to capture the space required for urbanization.
