Recall your text's discussion of the principles of reinforcement and of goldstein's (2003) study. how might brief internet or video game breaks be used to increase productivity rather than simply to improve mood and satisfaction?

Playing video games or using the internet briefly can activate use of the locus coeruleus. This area of the brain helps to promote memory and specifically help memory of those things already being thought about at the time of activation and could possibly help memory of these events in the future. Thus, this practice could potentially help with test-taking rather than just improving someone's mood.
