First you count UP/ DOWN how many units until you get to the point the dot is at. For the first one, your rise (by counting up) is 4. Than you count to the side (your run) to the dot. This would be 2. So your slope is 4/2. Which is equal to 2/1. 2/1 equals 2. So your slope is 2.
