Okay. I think this has to do with finding the spot of "y" with "x" at a spot on the graph.
1. With "x" being at -3, we can go on the graph and see where that particular position is. When x is at -3, y is at -6. y = -6.

2. This time, we're looking for one. With x being at 1, y would be at -2, because -2 is on the y-axis, while the x-axis is still 1. y = -2.
